Mission Objectives

Restructure and organize the QA department.

Manage and monitor bug tracking databases (Mantis, JIRA, Redmine).

Improve communication between QA, producers, and stakeholders.

Contribute to project coordination (MXGP24) and gradually take on responsibilities as an associate producer.
Bug Database Management
-
Ensured ticket quality and prioritization (especially high/critical issues).

Fully migrated the bug database from Mantis to Redmine.

Built custom filters in JIRA to improve tracking and visibility.
-
Acted as the main point of contact for external QA teams (via Discord).
Internal & External Playtests

Planned and executed playtest sessions (logistics, Google Forms feedback, reporting).

Two formats:

Internal team playtests – for holistic project visibility and feedback.

Cross-team internal playtests – for objective feedback and expert suggestions.

Coordinated multiplayer playtests with the client, including devkit setup and bug reporting.
Documentation & Reporting

Wrote and archived meeting and playtest reports on project wikis.

Created weekly build notes summarizing tasks completed and known issues for external QA.

Built timeline visuals for upcoming patches and milestones to guide the team.
Build Deployment

Handled build compilation via TeamCity, internal testing, and deployment on Steamworks.

Coordinated build deliveries (with proper documentation) to QA and publishers.

Gained knowledge on submission processes for Steam and Xbox (branches & sandboxes)
Licensing

Verified licensed assets (helmets, gear, bikes, branding) met client expectations.

Checked elements directly in the KT Engine, captured screenshots, and submitted visual proofs to the client via Google Drive.
Team Management & Coordination

Ran daily and lead-only stand-ups to streamline communication and project updates.

Scheduled and organized ad-hoc meetings based on project needs (QA or cross-functional topics).

Took on a coordination role during producer absences.
Client Relations & External Coordination

Represented the studio during weekly production meetings with the publisher.

Provided clear, reassuring communication to the client, balancing transparency with caution.

Maintained ongoing discussions with external QA and the publisher via Slack, Discord, and email.

Became a key link between stakeholders, producers, and the development team.
